I’m Inês, a Portuguese communications professional and creative practitioner working between Porto and Brussels.
My work brings together communications strategy, digital marketing, graphic design, websites, illustration and production. I am interested in how a clear message and a thoughtful visual language can help people understand, engage and act.
From European projects to independent client work, I combine the context behind a brief with the practical work of making it happen.
Strategy, content creation, social media, stakeholder communication and brand awareness.
Reports, presentations, publications, print materials, visual hierarchy and illustration.
Content structure, visual direction, no-code development and responsive design.
Logo development, colour, visual direction and brand materials.
Event planning, conference materials, scriptwriting, storyboards, production, video editing, podcasts and sound editing.
Communication, design and digital work for clients and organisations, shaped by each brief and the people behind it.

EPPA · Client collaboration
Communications & marketing · Brussels
I work with EPPA across communications strategy, marketing, visual design, digital channels and corporate events. This collaboration began in August 2023 and continues through my independent practice.
Communications planning, social media management, brand awareness and content creation, including video and editorial layouts.
I develop videos through the entire process: concept, script, storyboard, production and editing.
Corporate event communication and coordination, with invitations, marketing, stakeholder liaison and printed and digital materials.
Illustration can bring recognisable character to corporate communication. This piece connects place, identity and European context through a hand-drawn visual language.
A storyboard makes a story tangible before production: the scene, the visual rhythm and how one moment leads into the next.
Scriptwriting and storyboard development sit alongside production and editing in my communications practice.
Examples from my original portfolio: publications, event environments and visual communication.
Through EPPA, I design editorial and communication materials for clients, including Calbisco. This example shows a layout designed for digital presentation, with a clear hierarchy and a consistent rhythm across its pages.
The following brochure is an in-house EPPA example designed for paper, showing how I adapt editorial design to a printed format.
Your Partner in Trade is a two-sided brochure I designed in-house for EPPA. Alongside the digital client example, it shows my work in print: organising services, expertise and supporting graphics into a clear, practical paper publication.
A consistent visual hierarchy across both sides: service areas, key figures and supporting graphics, brought together as a practical marketing publication.
An example of my EPPA social communication: an event invitation designed for LinkedIn, with the programme, speakers and practical details given a clear hierarchy.
I also design marketing materials and branded applications for EPPA. These pieces extend the organisation’s visual presence into the spaces where people meet.
I take care of event visuals, invitations, communication and marketing, as well as the materials and layouts needed for print and digital use.
When needed, I coordinate with stakeholders to help organise the event, connecting the practical planning with a coherent audience experience.
For EPPA, I create videos through the entire process: from the initial idea and script to the storyboard, production and final edit.
I connect the message, visual sequence, footage and sound so the finished video feels coherent and serves its communication purpose.

I worked on a full International Day campaign, collaborating with colleagues across the department to bring the communication together.
My campaign materials and explanatory visuals followed the United Nations visual identity closely, using clear information and familiar visual codes to remain consistent with the organisation’s communication.
This screenshot shows the campaign’s digital setting. Other videos visible belong to the department’s broader programme.

Alongside the video project, I managed news website content and worked on LinkedIn posts and explanatory visuals.

European project communication involves the materials people encounter and the moments in which they meet. These photographs are preserved from my original portfolio.
I created Banzai’s brand: its logo, visual identity and brand kit, as well as the website. The kit defines the typography, colour palette and logo variations so the identity can be used consistently across formats.
See the identity on www.banzai.com.pt ↗As an independent creative professional, I work with clients on visual identity, branding and the materials that bring a business into view. GreenSea Capital, a fund in Portugal, is one example of that work.
Portuguese landscape, the coast, continuity and a considered sense of identity.
Visual research, creative directions, logo development, colour and applications across brand materials.
The identity developed towards a petrol blue to ocean green gradient. The following page shows material from the project’s visual exploration.

My audiovisual experience also includes podcasts and sound editing for both the United Nations and EPPA.
Alongside visual storytelling, I work with spoken content and sound, contributing to podcast production through editing.
This experience connects my public-information work at the UN with my communications role at EPPA, adding an audio dimension to my practice.
An independent practice that gives businesses a visual language of their own.

The palette combines bright green, dark grey and white with lilac, water green and sky blue. These colours give the identity a flexible visual range while retaining its recognisable green signature.

Personal projects, new skills and the pleasure of making things outside a client brief.
Two Tickets / Film / Learning through making
Two Tickets is a personal project that brings my passion for movies into a small digital experience, built in my free time.
A shared watchlist, a weekly suggestion, a film-selection wheel and a watched-together archive.
They give me room to keep learning, try ideas and stay creative. I enjoy bringing the tools I use professionally into my personal life, simply for the pleasure of making something useful and fun.
It is also a little glimpse of me beyond work: curious about stories, keen to experiment and always looking for a good film.

I am building an independent practice around the work I enjoy most: thoughtful communication, considered design and digital experiences with a clear purpose.
Branding, websites, editorial layouts and communication materials, developed through close collaboration and an understanding of the brief.
Over the coming year or two, I would like to open a small gallery of my own: a space to focus more on painting and illustration, explore traditional, hands-on techniques and grow this side of my creative practice.
